Barbara Muller

Authorial design, crafted by many hands through traditional bench jewelcrafting. Production is carried out on a small scale, prioritizing manual work and local artisans. Processes are entirely artisanal, involving wood sculptures and the combination of recycled materials with precious metals.

Brand conceived by the Brazilian jewelry artist and designer Barbara Müller, based in the Amazon, in Belém do Pará. Graduated in Product Design from UEPA – State University of Pará. The designer has worked on projects for Brazilian brands such as Mara Mac and Martu, as well as consultancy related to Amazonian culture for Farm, Grendene, Natura, and SPFW. Her work is heavily influenced by the nature and culture of the northern region where she was born and lives. In this area, she also engages in consultancy projects with traditional communities, having worked with riverside, quilombola, and indigenous communities. The premise is that the product is a strong element of resistance, rescue, and maintenance of Brazilian culture.

It is common to see collections with residues predominantly from the northern region of Brazil that acquire new values and meanings through the mixture of elements such as fruit peel, wood residues, buffalo horn with precious metal, and Brazilian gems.

The brand has been featured in national and international exhibitions, such as “Arte Brasilis” in Rome. It has a piece as part of the personal collection at the Di Casalmaggiore museum in Italy and has received awards in Milan.
