Cavalera

Founded in 1995 by businessman Alberto Hiar, Cavalera is a streetwear brand with a Brazilian identity, which carries in its essence the local urban culture, bringing to the mainstream the attitude and uniqueness present in this rich universe of the streets.

With music as part of its DNA, the brand is always following the main rising trends within the counterculture, and today supports projects such as “Best day 6 – Destino”, with the participation of artists Matuê, Jovem Dex, Yunk Vino, The Boy, Wall, Clovis Pinho and Teto, names that represent the new face of street culture, as well as the identity of Cavalera.

With the strength that skateboarding and surfing have been gaining worldwide in recent years, Cavalera, which has always been at the forefront of initiatives in both sports, now has a team of athletes made up of surfer Miguel Pupo, a member of the World Surf League , in addition to skaters Pedro Quintas, finalist in the Skate Park category of the 2021 Olympics, Gabryel Aguilar and Sergio Santoro.

In addition, throughout its trajectory Cavalera has always sought not only to highlight the icons of Brazilian culture, but also through its collections to give voice to multiple causes and minority groups, such as the Yawanawá tribe, from Acre, with whom the brand has a strong partnership, and raise awareness on relevant topics in a creative way, such as the Survival collection, which draws attention to the environmental crisis, portraying the current moment of neglect with the Brazilian forests.
