Our essence is to believe in craftsmanship; in products that not only are being made by hand, but also have a lot of love and dedication in its manufacturing. The idea of Galpão 51 was born from a warehouse located in Rio de Janeiro where, for many years, improvement techniques were carried out and processed for the fashion industry.
The brand came to be in a natural way, from the experimentation of dyeing techniques in bikinis, which soon fell in Rio de Janeiro’s taste. Since then, we started to work on our own product, with freedom and a lot of creativity.
The differential of Galpão 51 pieces is in the use of resources and manual dyeing techniques such as tie-dye. In our handmade dyes, we use pigments from different parts of the world, looking for unique colors. A crucial point in our history: we are concerned with stimulating local production, seeking to encourage and empower people from nearby communities.
